In the following pages you will find tips for training different commands and behaviors. These are ways that have worked the best for us and our dogs. We work with a reward system (treats and high praise) and on shaping a behavior that is already present in a dog. The method of training that will work best for your dog, will depend upon the breed or your dog, its natural instincts, its prey drive, its working drive, how sensitive your dog is, and your bond with the dog.

Some of the training and shaping behaviors we are listing in this section will be more advanced than your average pet owner will do. But since we train some of our dogs for service dogs and like to help other owner trainers out there with their training, we will be including that in this section too.

This section will be a work in process so keep checking back for updates.
